Welcome to SUEDE, up above 383 Bay. We're San Francisco's first sophisticated nightspot, providing exquisite atmospheres to dance, relax, and drink.
SUEDE mixes plush fabrics and subdued lighting with superb cocktails. But we also offer something special - the unexpected delight of discovering nightlife spaces to suit your mood. After all, getting away from it all means being jolted from the ordinary. And SUEDE is far from ordinary.
SUEDE consists of two spaces: one for dancing, one for schmoozing. Both can be reserved for private parties, and on special nights SUEDE can also be opened up to join 383 Bay to create a space for large-scale events.

383 Bay
We would be remiss to overlook 383 Bay Street, our big brother down below and frequent companion venue. While SUEDE sparkles upstairs, 383 Bay roars downstairs with plenty of space for everyone.
A stunning clef-shaped bar stretches 20 feet across the front room. Lit from below, it glows as crowds entering from the street pause to greet friends in the lobby. Just beyond are the throbbing sounds of masses in full groove, where DJs and live bands work a state-of-the-art sound system to make magic under soaring, 30-foot-high ceilings.
